Environmental Safety and Health Policy
In line with increasing awareness of labor rights and environmental protection, SDI is committed to taking on the responsibility of being a global citizen by compliance with the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications for Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
1.Environmental Policy: the ISO 14001:2004 certification
1. All the environmental management practices comply with government environmental laws and regulations.
2. Implement waste reduction and pollution prevention policies.
3. Actively promote energy conservation and the implementation of recycling activities.
4. Enhance staff environmental education, and create a zero-pollution working environment.
5. Continuously improve environmental management practices by corrective and preventive measures.
6. Publicize environmental policy and safeguard the environment together with the community.

 

2.Safety Policy: OHSAS 18001:2007 Certification
1. Comply with government safety and health-related laws and regulations and meet requirements from customers and other stakeholders.
2. Implement the commitment to prevent injury and disease by continuing to eliminate all hazards to ensure health and safety in the workplace.
3. Promote safety and health management related training and activities, continuing to set and review health and safety targets.
4. Establish safety and health technology, equipment, practices and documented procedures in order to reduce accident risks.
5. Establish health and safety audits and continually improve the operational review system in order to ensure that the safety and health management system is effective and standards-compliant.
6. Implement heath and safety policies and guidelines both internally and externally, ensuring that everyone is aware of his or her personal responsibilities regarding health and safety.
